The large Mediterranean garden has ample space for children to play, along with a good sized, fenced pool and a boules pitch. A large pool house equipped with summer kitchen means you can spend all day outdoors, making the most of the wonderful Riviera climate. Cannes, the 'Jewel' in the crown of the 'Côte d'Azur' since the dawn of time, focal point for festivals throughout the world and a cultural melting pot. The city is very well located to choose as a destination for a vacation apartment rental in Cannes in order to discover the french riviera. You could not dream of a place more like paradise than Cannes. A town whose eclectic scenery has amazed even the most powerful. The Romans chose it as a place in which to settle. Also, the English chancellor, Lord Brougham, Napoleon and Cocteau and many others have all fallen in love with this vibrant, colorful town and its peaceful way of life.
The closest thing to an 'old town' is 'Le Suquet' overlooking the west end of the port. The 12th-century Tour de Mt. Chevalier, ramparts and 12th-16th-century church Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance give a touch of medieval flavor to the city. Le Suquet area has narrow streets climbing up and around the hill, with a fine view from the top. Standing on the ancient rampart wall in front of the church, you can see east across the city, the port and the bay to the Cap de la Croisette, and to the west across the Gulf of La Napoule to the Massif de l'Estérel mountains.
