DESCRIPTION

Located on a quiet and narrow medieval street just several feet from the Seine River, on the left Bank, and directly across from the Notre Dame Cathedral is this 2-bedroom Triplex apartment for rent nestled on the 4th floor of a 16th century old building with an elevator. The property is seconds away from Boulevard St. Germain and a couple of minutes from the Boulevard St. Michel, the Panthéon, the Sorbonne, Cluny and the Jardin des Plantes.

The Triplex is about 80 square meters and can host a small group of up to 5 guests. It is set over 3 levels with the first being on the 4th floor of the building which means that the 5th and 6th floor comprises the 2nd and 3rd level of the Triplex. The lone bedroom on the 3rd level opens to quiet rooftop terrace perfect for morning coffee, tea or an evening aperitif. The apartment is in a very central location which means that bistros, cafés, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques abound in the surrounding streets.

To access the apartment, you got to take the lift going to the 4th floor. Upon entrance, you’ll be rewarded by a warm and bright living room. You’ll immediately notice the original exposed beamed ceilings, the parquet floors, the large lovely sofa and the decorative stone fireplace. You also have huge flat screen TV and a DVD Player and laptop for internet access and a stereo system to complete the in-house entertainment options.

Here, you’ll find a refrigerator, a 4-burner stove, a gas oven, a microwave oven, a toaster oven, a coffeemaker and a dishwasher.

The master bedroom is on the 5th floor. It is fitted with two twin beds or a king size bed when joined. Across the bedroom is the large bathroom with two sinks, a full-sized mirror, a washing machine and a dryer, a toilet, and a large bathtub with a shower. The bathroom has a skylight and an exposed beam ceiling.

Up on the 6th is the 2nd bedroom with access to the rooftop terrace with views of the Paris skyline and its picturesque rooftops and the Pantheon. It has a queen size bed and a glass paned door leading to the terrace with a parasol, table, and chairs.

The three floors are connected by an internal staircase. All 3 floors of the Triplex look out onto an internal courtyard making the apartment very quiet. All floors have air-conditioning system and WIFI enabled.

It terms of building security, a street door digicode can be found on the ground floor, then an internal door that requires a key, and an internal intercom system that allows you to screen visitors.
