DESCRIPTION
With high ceilings, grand fireplaces, marble floors and ornate chandeliers, this classic, Belle Epoque beachfront villa with pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea will remind you of the elegance of the past. Nestled right on the beachfront, the villa has direct access to two beaches. It is also conveniently close and within walking distance to St. Aygulf's shops and restaurants and a short easy drive to Ste Maxime and Saint Raphael.
Situated near Frejus and Saint Raphael, Reve de Mer, offers a genuine luxury villa rental experience. It serves as an ideal base for anyone wishing to explore the French Riviera. You have the popular coastal scenic route known as La Corniche should you want to head east towards Cannes, Nice and the Cote d’Azur or west towards Ste Maxime and Ste Tropez and enjoy the refreshing scenery along the entire coastline where a string of seaside resorts and beaches offering a wide range of water sports can be found.
Should you prefer to experience the beach right in front of the villa, you’ll find a path at either ends of the garden leading to the nearby sandy and pebbles beaches. The longer stretch of Les Issambres sandy beach is about 3 miles away from the villa towards Ste Maxime.
Reve De Mer is set over 4 levels. It has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and can comfortably host a large group of 12. For better appreciation, below is structural layout.
Ground Floor:
The ground floor serves as the entrance. It has a lift that takes you to the other floors. On this level, you’ll find a living room furnished with period furniture, open fireplace, classic decors and furnishings, French doors leading to the covered terrace and an outstanding sea view. Also furnished with period furniture is the formal dining room while the recreation room has a pool table, ping pong table, huge flat screen TV, CD/DVD Player and access to the garden and the outdoor swimming pool. The is also a library on this floor which is accessible to guests.
To complete this floor are the fully equipped kitchen with coffee or breakfast table, the cloakroom and a WC.
First Floor:
Here, you have a small living room, 4 bedrooms, and a balcony.
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom (1.80m), French doors to terrace, sea view, en suite bathroom, Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, WC.
Bedroom 2: Double/twin bedroom (2 x 1.20m), open fireplace, French door to balcony, sea view, en suite bathroom, WC.

On this level, you have two more bedrooms:

Lower Ground Floor:
Here, you’ll find a large sauna, bath, and shower. There 3 single bedrooms on this level but is only available upon request. These rooms are ideal for staff. There is also a shower room and a WC.
Air-conditioning and a sauna add a touch of modernity. A games room provides space for kids to chill-out whilst the adults can enjoy the large south-facing terrace which extends the living space into the Mediterranean garden, offering a unique view point over this unspoilt stretch of coast encompassing calanques, rocky outcrops and sandy coves.
Outdoors:
The outdoor areas are equally beautiful if not the most lovely part of the Villa. It has a huge, flat, lush garden with palm trees, agavi, shrubs and lawn areas. The 11m x 5m salt-water pool quietly sits outside in the beautiful garden with sun loungers by the pool. Al fresco dining can also be had in the large covered terrace with a dining table and ample of chairs for guests. You also have a portable gas BBQ at your disposal. Lastly, there’s a Boules pitch perfect for kids and a spacious parking area for those coming in with cars.
Note: the discreet caretaker lives in a cottage within the grounds at the front of the villa and is available to assist clients, if needed. Some road noise may be heard from the main road at the front of the villa.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Town Var in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Saint-Tropez became a resort of the jet set around the world at the time of the New Wave, in the years 1960. This ancient citadel of the sixteenth century, which was still a small fishing village in the early twentieth century, attracts stars from around the world in search of the typical authenticity of Provence.
St-Trop', as used colloquially called await the lovers of the sea, as history lovers and those wanting to have a good time. The sweet life that reigns there, and world famous entertainment, also helped a lot to the reputation of this magical place.
The sea, boats, architectural and historic heritage make it a little paradise, like its popular gastronomy. Wines with fish dishes, via confectionery, sweets are likely to Saint-Tropez. The most famous is the famous tropézienne tart, cake mounted from sugar brioche. The latter was coined during the filming... And God Created Woman, to please Brigitte Bardot, great ambassador for the city.
