The 8th arrondissement is home to the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, probably the most famous avenue in the world. This is a district where the celebrities of fashion design, painting, cinema and theatre are born.
This impressive promenade stretches from the Place the la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle, the site of the Arc de Triomphe.
Its western end is bordered by cinemas, theatres, cafés and luxury shops. Near the Place de la Concorde, the street is bordered by the Jardins des Champs-Elysées, beautifully arranged gardens with fountains and some grand buildings including the Grand and Petit Palais on the southern side and the Elysée at its northern end.
The Champs-Elysées is the main site for all Paris' major celebrations. This is where Parisians celebrate New Year's Eve and where the military parades are held on the 14th of July. Historic national events, like the Liberation at the end of the second World War or the victory in the World Cup are also celebrated here.
The 8th is also home to the Arc de Triomphe, and close to the Trocadero and Palais de Chaillot, Madeleine church, Concorde Plaza, the Palais de la Decouverte, Petit Palais Museum, and the Grand Palais.
Evenings in the 8th mean a dizzying selection of restaurants and French brasseries, and famous shows like the Lido or the Crazy Horse.
For those coming to Paris on business, you'll be near several business centers, such as Porte Maillot, La Defense, and not far from the Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airports.

Our visit (three 45-50 year old friends) to Paris was fabulous! The apartment was in the perfect location, just a block and half off the Champs Elysees. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were plenty hot with very good water pressure. The linens were lovely too. The living room was a great gathering spot with a super comfortable couch. The kitchen was small, but had what we needed for our 6 night vacation. My group of friends travel regularly and use either VRBO or Airbnb quite regularly and we would all highly recommend this property.
The only constructive feedback we have is the following...
(1) there wasn't enough toilet paper, paper towels or garbage bags, which we had to purchase during our stay;
(2) no toiletries come with the apartment, so we also had to purchase some shampoo and body wash;
(3) there isn't a toilet in the master bath, so you have to use the hall 1/2 bath, which wasn't a big deal, just notable;
(4) a neighbor threatened to call the cops on us for running the dryer one night, which was quite startling;
(5) on NYEve the neighbors upstairs danced and played VERY loud music until 6:30am -- we understood it was NYEve, but it sounded like they were in the apartment with us, which made for a very long night of no sleep. Otherwise the place was very quiet.
My last word is -- this is fabulous place in a perfect location and I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful time in Paris and were very pleased with this apartment. The booking process was easy and the service from Alicia and Aaron was top notch!!! The location is one of best and easy access to all areas of Paris via metro. Our trip to Paris was very memorable and we even had the chance to catch the TOUR de France on final day of race. Paris is an AWESOME CITY!!!

The location was perfect and it met our needs. Sleeping arrangements and bathing arrangements are more suited for two couples rather than three. The en suite WITHOUT A TOILET is a definite negative. Ensuite and second bath behind the twin bedroom door (though technically in the hall) "land locks" those sleeping in the hall bedroom from access to a shower without disturbing the other parties. Carpet could use a cleaning and drapery pulls are not functioning properly. Would be nice to have a rubbish can in each bedroom and a dresser. That said, the on line description was very accurate and my observations are more to improve for the future than reflect any real dissatisfaction. Welcome2France was very accommodating and responsive to our water leak in second bath. Sam was very hospitable and a good representative of your company. On time upon our arrival and departure. Thank you very much.

Our family of three adult couples spent the Christmas and New Year holiday in this lovely and comfortable apartment. The apartment is very well appointed and well maintained. We were greeted by a very professional representative of the rental company who showed us around the apartment and acquainted us with its features.
The location is excellent. There are two metro stops within a few minute walk from the apartment and most sites of interest to visitors are within a 20-30 minute walk. The Monoprix is just a few steps away, as is another market, so shopping is very convenient.
There is one detail that is not clear from the photos: the full bathroom with tub and shower is within the door to one of the bedrooms so a little coordination of bathing times is required.
We found Welcome2France an excellent, well organized and responsive firm with which to work. In addition, the transportation arranged through the company arrived exactly on schedule, the drivers were courteous and the vehicles immaculate.
Show a diplomat what Paris is really like, not by bringing them to tourist spots everybody already knows and have probably been to, but to art galleries that present a different take on Paris. They may get to see a new side of the French capital after their visit! [...]
