The Luxembourg Gardens may well be one of the most successful parks in the world, partly because it is so well integrated into the fabric of the city around it, which makes it easily accessible. There are also many things to do there, evidenced by the wide range of people who use it: children, older people, Sorbonne students, people cutting through on a lunch break, etc.
People come to stroll, play chess, to sit and read, people watch, sit at one of the cafes or to bring their children or grandchildren to one of the many attractions for kids. Organized activities at the park include tennis, pony rides, puppet theatres, and toy sailboat rental (children float them in the large central fountain). Visitors can also stop inside the Palais and attend a hearing of the French Senate, which is open to the public.Latin Quarters and a few steps from Saint-Germain des Pres. I stayed in the apartment with my 2 teenage daughters for a week and we did not have any complaints. The place was well equipped for what we needed, in addition to having more than enough space for the 3 of us. The downstairs bedroom and bath for the girls provided everyone with some privacy. The location was an easy walk to many sites and close to metro stops. We loved the bakery on the corner where we could pick up breakfast everyday and dinner on nights we wanted to eat in.
The greeter was there when we arrived. Note - we booked our airport transport at the same time as our accommodations and I highly recommend using this service - our inbound flight was delayed 3 times and, with no work on my part, our driver was waiting on us when we landed.

The apartment was beautiful and quite central. It was as it appears on the photos. The greeter was helpful and showed us around the apartment ensuring we understood how everything operated. He was there waiting for us when we arrived. It was helpful to have a list of recommended local restaurants in the area and some books and maps of Paris there to use also. The property is in a very safe and lovely neighbourhood. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to others here in Australia.

Great location and wonderful apartment! Great guest quarters downstairs and then a cozy but bright main floor. Nice little kitchen and very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Best part is the location- in the middle of so much, but on a quiet street. We loved our little home away from home....and had an amazing month in Paris.

Our experience was terrific - the apartment was great - well equipped - clean - in a great building . We would rent this again in a moment - in addition we would use Welcome 2 France again . The help we received before our arrival was unparalleled . Alicia was outstanding - She called me on the weekend in the US to resolve an issue -- I had caused !!!
The only - less than perfect aspects of the issue related to the driver that picked us up ( arranged by Welcome 2 France ) and the greeter that met us at the apartment and was to have met us at the apartment for our departure ----he claimed to have made many calls to tell us he would not be there - My cell phone showed one call and no message - and no call the morning of our departure . The driver at the end of our visit was great .,. very good experience

The apartment was excellent, in a great location, very clean, and perfect for a family or more than one person. I was really pleased.
Apart from La Defense, Champs Elysees, and Trocadero as the three of the busiest and biggest Christmas markets in Paris, you can look for smaller Christmas markets that are equally enjoyable. Check out these lists and dates... [...]
