Welcome2France takes your privacy concerns very seriously and, thus, will not share your personal information without your consent. When and whenever you make a rental reservation with Welcome2France, we will share information about you and your selected accommodation with the property owner or authorized representative. We will only provide the necessary information to make sure that your arrangements are properly booked and confirmed with the property owner or authorized representative. Welcome2France will not, at any time or in any manner, give or sell confidential or personal information about the user to any third party not affiliated with the transaction, except as required by applicable law or a competent court of law, in relation to what is necessary in providing the services to the user.
Some of the information collected by Welcome2France is defined as “personal data,” or data that relates to and clearly describes an identifiable person. Examples of personal data include given names, family names or surnames, residential addresses, workplace addresses, e-mail addresses, credit card numbers, debit card numbers, fixed-line telephone numbers, mobile phone numbers, and tax account numbers. Welcome2France is committed to complying with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies on the processing of personal data. Welcome2France will deal with the data of users in an automated manner and, if required by applicable laws, will register such processing with the Antilles Data Protection Authority.
Welcome2France treats the personal data of the user as assets that, at all times, must be protected against unauthorized access, manipulation, and/or loss. We employ a range of tested and currently applicable security techniques to protect confidential information appropriately and efficiently from unauthorized access and similar forms of breach. We retain information about users only to the extent necessary in fulfilling business purposes and government regulatory requirements. When the data-retention period expires, Welcome2France exercises extreme care and caution in the disposal of records and deletion of information to prevent unauthorized data retrieval.
Users can visit most areas of the Welcome2France Website without being required to reveal who they are, or to provide any information that may result in identifying themselves. However, there are certain Welcome2France services that may reasonably require users to identify themselves, in order to enable an interactive function of the Website.
