This Paris romantic duplex/loft Paris apartment rental is located (accessible by elevator) on the 5th and top floor of a beautiful 19th-century building, looking out on to a large and lovely courtyard. The apartment is very quiet (as it is protected from street noise), and it is also very safe, with a digicode. The flat is 80 square meters (900 square feet) and has just been beautifully renovated. It is tastefully designed with modern furniture and real wood floor. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, on WC only and a mezzanine that can function as a TV room or a 3rd bedroom for one person. It is situated near the Opera and big department store Gallerie Lafayette on rue de la Victoire, where Napoleon and Josephine owned a house. It is a perfect location: not only it is central at walking distance from the main sites such as Opera, Louvre, Montmartre, Madeleine, but also it is residential that allows you to live as a native Parisian thanks to many shops and the famous market street 'rue des Martyrs' well know for its shops but also bars and restaurants. If you don't feel walking, 5 metro stops are situated at less than 5 minutes walk.

The apartment is distributed over two levels.

- Level One ('Ground Floor'): Kitchen, Dining, Bedroom, Bathroom

The ground floor consists of a kitchen, dining area with a table for six, and a living room. There is plenty of light with large windows. There is a bedroom on this level with a Queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom (tub, shower and sink), and a separated toilet.

The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes a washer and separate dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave.

- Level Two ('First Floor'): Bedroom, Bathroom, Mezzanine Bed

On one side of this Paris apartment, level two, there is a separated bedroom with a large window, and an ensuite shower room and sink. There are two single beds that can be joined to create a single Queen-size bed.

On the other side of level two is a mezzanine with a sleeping couch for 1 person (picture 6) and a television. This mezzanine also has a desk and a chair with fast Internet access. It can function as a TV room, study or 3rd bedroom.

NEIGHBORHOOD

A diverse residential area popular among an artistic crowd. This Southern portion is similar to the 2nd arrondissement, with a mix of residential and business buildings.

It is a perfect location : not only it is central at walking distance from the main sites such as Opera, Louvre, Montmartre, Madeleine, but also it is residential that allows you to live as a native Parisian thanks to many shops and the famous market street 'rue des Martyrs' well know for its shops but also bars and restaurants. If you don't feel walking, 5 metro stops are situated at less than 5 minutes walk. This location is ideal for a Paris apartment rental whether it is for short term stay or long term stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. It was particularly nice to have an apartment on a courtyard away from the street noise of the Paris streets. The apartment is well situated near the Peltier and the Notre Dame de Lorette metro. The apartment is easy walking distance to the Opera and to the upscale Galleries Lafayette shopping center. Temperatures reached the high 90’s while we were there and although the apartment is not air-conditioned, it was manageable with large fans supplied by the owners. The kitchen has most items one could need to cook at home although I would suggest they replace the coffee cups that have large chips. Another suggestion would be to replace some pillows that are very thin. The apartment has a large room and en-suite bath area on the first floor and a second bedroom with much smaller en-suite bath area on the second floor. There is one toilet room on the first floor. The apartment is on the fifth floor but a small elevator makes it convenient. The apartment seemed to be very safe as there is a door to enter the courtyard, a door to enter the building and a door to the apartment. Transportation can be arranged from the airport, although we took the train from Gare du Nord and then a short taxi ride. The apartment provides a map of the metro and other area information that was very helpful.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and very well located near shops, bistros and metro stops. Only 2 features made it less than perfect, both having to do with W2F's servicing. Upon arrival we had no hot water and it took several emails back and forth before W2F imposed upon the owner to come and ensure it was working properly. She was very gracious and helpful but we feel it was W2F's duty to ensure the hot water was available when we arrived. The 2nd is the telephone, which did not hold a charge and was therefore not usable. We know from friends who have stayed at this apartment previously that it has been this way for a while in spite of their informing you of this. Unless the phone is replaced or repaired it should not be offered as a feature of the apartment rental. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the apartment and hope to make a return visit!

This is a fantastic apartment. Clean, bright, comfortable and fully equipped! It is close to transport and a supermarket. Walking distance to the Galleries Lafayette. (Not sure that is a good thing). Our family of four loved staying here and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, oh, p.s there is a lift going to the top floor if you are not feeling energetic enough to walk the stairs.

Fabulous apartment - clean, bright, comfortable and well equipped. Kitchen had everything we needed for preparing simple meals. Dining table was generous size and easy to clean (glass top). Great location - we could walk to the neighborhood grocery stores, pharmacy, cheese and pastry shops and cafes. Close to several Metro stops. Quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the little elevator when we returned after a long day out walking. Welcome2France took good care of us - meeting us at the apartment at check in and check out. We used their driver to take us to and from the airport - his fee was very close to a cab, his vehicle was very roomy and clean - he was delightful - and well worth the expense. I would definitely recommend this apartment - the driver - and Welcome2France. I hope we can return again sometime!

Opera Victoire I-B5 was the perfect choice for our week-long stay in Paris in February. Quiet, very conveniently located, safe and comfortable for the four women traveling together. We made extensive use of the two nearby Metro stops and traversed the friendly city of Paris. Nearby were several markets/convenience stores and neighborhood cafes. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We were glad we took advantage of the car service for pickup from CDG airport; our driver was waiting and helpful (and the price was very in line with other airport transfers) and we knew he would know the way to the apartment. The welcome2france representatives who greeted us were friendly and helpful and got us settled in and ready to see the city. We were given their private cell phone numbers in case we had any questions or concerns during our visit which was very reassuring. I would happily recommend this apartment.
