July is right smack in the middle of summer and is often the hottest time of the year in Paris. Naturally, I'm always out and about since I don't want to stay cooped up in my apartment. This is the best time to get as much sunshine as I want, after all. July just so happens to be one of the busiest months in Paris, too. This year alone, the city has an insane slate of concerts ranging from Diana Ross to Chris Brown, the return of Cinéma en Plein Air, and Bastille Day, to name a few. We're all gonna have a ball in Paris this July 2025!

July is about to be the hottest month this 2025, both literally and figuratively! The city has a lot in store this July, from awesome concerts and annual holidays to outdoor cinemas and music festivals.

See Music Icons Live in Concert!
This July 2025, Paris will be filled to the brim with icons! Diana Ross, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Chris Brown. These are just some of the top-charting international artists who will perform live in the city this July. It's such an awesome lineup, right? I seriously think this is the best slate of concerts I've seen in Paris in a while. And I already bought my ticket for the Diana Ross concert at the Accor Arena on July 6th. Chris Brown, on the other hand, will be performing at La Defense Arena on July 5th, while 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige will have a joint concert at the same venue on July 13th.Enjoy Live Music at The Fnac Live Music Festival
Haven't had enough music in Paris? I know I haven't! While many of my friends will be going on vacation this July 2025, I'll be going to many of the awesome concerts and music festivals the city has in store. One that I'm particularly excited about is the Fnac Live Music Festival, which will return to the Hôtel de Ville in the 1st arrondissement this July 2nd to the 4th. Last year's event was canceled due to the Paris 2024 Olympics, so I and a lot of usual attendees are stoked that it's coming back this year. I'm especially excited that one of my faves, Zinée, is also part of the lineup.Where: Hôtel de Ville, 75004 Paris, France

Live La Dolce Vita in Paris!
From July 4 to 8, 2025, you'll find me at the Square des Arènes de Lutèce watching Italian movies. The annual Dolce Vita-sur-Seine will take place here, one of the city's many film festivals held every July. As its name makes it obvious, this is an entire event dedicated to highlighting Italian cinema at its finest. As a huge Fellini fan, I already have my ticket to the “Intervista” showing. I'm also interested in checking out Mario Monicelli's “Casanova 70,” which will also be screened at this festival.Where: Square des Arènes de Lutèce - 4 Rue des Arènes, 75005 Paris, France
When: July 4 to 8, 2025
Keep Cool at The Paris Plages
Thank God the Paris Plages are back this July 2025! I understand that the city couldn't set them up last year because of the Olympics, but it really bummed be out that they didn't even do it afterward. I've always enjoyed going to the Paris Plages to cool off every summer in this city. I know it's nowhere near the beaches on the French Riviera, but I still find it fun. Where else will you see a man-made beach along one of the world's most famous rivers? When: Opens on July 6, 2025

Stay Tuned for Paris Fashion Week
This is more of a warning coming from me than anything else. I know that Paris Fashion Week is usually an exclusive event, and unless you're a big celebrity or social media influencer, there's a good chance you won't be able to get into the shows. Especially since the Fashion Week every July is for haute couture, the highest category in the industry. It's a smaller event with even fewer brands participating, and they just so happen to be the biggest fashion houses in the world. Nevertheless, despite how exclusive it is, Paris Fashion Week will still cause a bit of traffic in some parts of the city. Be warned! When: July 7 to 10, 2025
Experience The Paris l'Été Festival
Paris l'Été, or the “Paris in the Summer” Festival, is one of the more underrated events this July 2025. It's an array of all sorts of avant-garde events transpiring in various neighborhoods in Paris. It's not one huge concert in the vein of the Fnac Live Music Festival, and if you didn't know about it, you might have already stumbled into one without your knowledge. Still, I'm including it on this list because many of you might be interested in it. The events include live music, dance performances, art exhibitions, and more. When: July 10 to 20, 2025

Party at The Firemen's Balls
Do you know how important Bastille Day is in Paris? They practically treat it like New Year's Day! On the eve of the holiday, Paris puts on the outrageously fun Firemen's Balls. Held in fire stations in each district, these are fun outdoor events for the entire family. Some arrondissements start as early as 18:30 (6:30) pm with fun games and shows for kids. Later in the evening, the strobe lights go on, the music amps up to a hundred, and the raves begin! It's one of the best annual parties in Paris! When: July 13 to 14, 2025
Celebrate Bastille Day in Paris
Naturally, I can't make this list without including Bastille Day! It's the country's biggest holiday and their version of Independence Day. I'm not even French myself, but I can't help but feel proud to be a resident of Paris whenever this holiday comes around. I've attended the grand parade held every year along Avenue de Champs-Elysées, and it just makes you feel so special to be there at the time. It's also always a surprise to me how many Parisians are actually pretty patriotic.Where: Avenue de Champs-Elysées

Watch Movies at Parc de la Villette
I'm so happy and freaking excited that Cinéma en Plein is coming back this July 2025 too! It's my favorite film festival in the city and has become a tradition for me and my cinephile buddies every summer. For the uninformed, Cinéma en Plein is an outdoor cinema set up in Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement every summer. It typically starts in July, and this year, the screenings will begin on July 16th. Unfortunately, I don't know the movies slated to be screened this year, but expect a nice mix of arthouse films, mainstream box-office hits, and even a few classics.Where: Parc de la Villette - 211 Avenue Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris, France
When: Begins on July 16, 2025
See The Famous Tour de France in Person
Whether you're a cycling enthusiast or not, watching the Tour de France live is always an awesome experience. I'm not that big of a sports fan myself, but every time I see these superstar cyclists pass by my luxury apartment in Paris, I get inspired. I don't even care what I'm doing at the time! Whether I'm cooking, watching TV, or even taking a bath, I always rush to the window to see them go by. It's exhilarating and a must-see for anyone and everyone who will be in Paris at this time. When: July 27, 2025
