Paris in October 2025: What to Expect

Paris is arguably the most beautiful and the most exciting in October. I’ve always loved how the fall foliage makes the city even more beautiful, and it makes navigating this often-hectic metropolis a lot easier. And it truly helps, since October 2025 will have me running around as if I’m Carrie Bradshaw in New York City in the early aughts. I’m excited for what the city has in store this October, including the awesome concerts, Montmartre’s Wine Harvest Festival, and of course, Halloween! These are just some of the things you can expect in Paris this October 2025.

See International Artists Live in Paris!

I love a good concert, so I'm so pumped that Paris has a stellar lineup this October 2025! As early as October 5th, world-renowned DJ Snake will turn the house down at Stade de France! It's his first time in Paris after three years, and though I'll have to travel all the way to the Paris suburbs to see him live, I already know it'll be worth the trip! Fortunately, many of the A-list artists performing live in Paris this October will perform at the Accor Arena. American pop-rock band OneRepublic starts on October 7th. Music icon Sting takes to the stage on October 9th, and the chart-topping Katy Perry will finish it off on October 24th.

Enjoy Halloween All-Month-Long in Disneyland Paris

Paris doesn't necessarily take Halloween as seriously as the US does, but certain popular spots do. One of them is Disneyland Paris, which holds its annual month-long Halloween festival every October. This year will be no different as the beloved theme park will begin its festivities as early as October 1st, complete with our favorite Disney villains taking over the entire park. Get ready for all sorts of scary games, sweet treats, and spooky parades at night. I'm planning to bring my family there one weekend myself because it's always a good time at Disneyland Paris!

Push Through Paris Fashion Week

Though the Spring 2026 Paris Fashion Week technically begins in the final days of September, its shows, galas, and other events will still spill over the first week of October 2025. The entire event ends on October 7th, so this month gets the brunt of the city-wide craziness. It's bound to be even busier around the second half of Paris Fashion Week since this is when many of the city’s major fashion powerhouses will hold their shows. No less than Christian Dior, Givenchy, Chanel, Maison Margiela, Loewe, Balenciaga, Celine, and the like have all scheduled their shows this October 2025.

Experience The Wine Harvest Festival in Montmartre

I always attend Montmartre's Wine Harvest Festival in the 18th arrondissement with my entire family, and this October 2025 will be no different. Believe me when I say that this is one of the city's best and most fascinating annual events, both for its centuries-long tradition and its commitment to highlighting the local community. From its old-world wine-making activities and famous Grand Parade to its traditional closing dance, the festival shows French culture at its purest form. You'll get a good sense of what this country is all about beyond the global gloss of Paris. And of course, it's always a fun time!

Listen to Jazz at Various Clubs

You'd think that with all of Paris's many jazz festivals earlier this year that the city would be tired of it by October. Well, it isn't, and I certainly am not as well! I love jazz and I could listen to it every night if I can, and fortunately, that's exactly what I'll do when Jazz sur Seine 2025. From October 10th to the 25th, many jazz clubs throughout various neighborhoods in Paris will take part in this city-wide music festival. What I love about it is that it's often the best event of its kind that provides the perfect platform for emerging artists to perform live.

Indulge in Chocolate at Salon du Chocolat

Indulge in all things chocolate in the upcoming Salon du Chocolat this October 29th to November 23rd. And when I say this month-long event is all about chocolate, I'm not kidding. More than just a standard trade show for the confectionery industry, Salon du Chocolat also features all sorts of shows, exhibitions, and most importantly, free tastings. They even go so far as to stage their signature chocolate fashion shows, featuring haute couture pieces made out of—you guessed it!—chocolate! It's also fitting that the event will take place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, because I'm sure Marie Antoinette herself would've loved being part of all the chocolate extravaganza!

See Salon d'Automne in Champs-Elysees

Now, for a more traditional exhibition-like event, go to Salon d'Automne in the 8th arrondissement. This world-renowned fall art show, which held its first exhibition in 1903, has been one of Paris's everlasting traditions. It's arguably the best art show of its kind in the world, providing a platform for over 1,000 established and emerging artists. I've been lucky enough to have attended many editions of the event over the years, including last year, and I always enjoyed it every time. It always takes my breath away to see just how creative today's best artists truly are, not to mention how much Paris still loves fine art after all these years.

Celebrate Halloween at Le Grand Rex

The other famous spot in Paris that celebrates Halloween every year is Le Grand Rex, the city's most famous movie theater. Located on Boulevard Poissonnière in the 2nd arrondissement, it's the biggest cinema in all of Europe, making it just as iconic a landmark as the Eiffel Tower itself. And you can bet that it's gonna be filled to the brim this October 31st as it holds its annual horror movie marathon. Cinephiles and horror fans alike have practically made it their yearly pilgrimage to attend this event, and even I, who's not a huge fan of the genre, have gone here a few years back. It's truly a lot of fun!
